Product Overview

The KLEENOIL MS1 Single Filter Bunded Workstation is a compact, high-performance off-line oil filtration system designed for efficient fluid conditioning across a wide range of industrial applications. Based on the proven MS2 platform, this single-pot configuration offers useful filtration generally for small tanks as a cost-effective solution while maintaining the same high standard of filtration performance.

Engineered for both fixed installation and flexible servicing use, the unit is ideal for cleaning and maintaining hydraulic, gear, and transmission systems, as well as diesel fuel and stored oils. The integrated bunded base provides safe containment, ensuring clean and controlled operation in demanding environments.

🔹 Performance & Capability

Operating as an off-line filtration system, the unit continuously draws oil from the tank, filters it to a high level of cleanliness, and returns it back to the system—without interrupting normal operation.

Utilising KLEENOIL’s proven cellulose filtration technology, the system:

  • Removes particulate contamination down to 3 microns
  • Removes free and dissolved water contamination
  • Achieves high levels of oil cleanliness (ISO 4406 standards)

The single filter configuration delivers an approximate flow rate of 250 LPH, making it ideal for small to medium tank applications and targeted maintenance tasks.

🔹 Key Applications

  • Hydraulic, gear & transmission fluid reservoir cleaning
  • Oil and diesel fuel transfer
  • Cleaning stored or unused oils prior to use
  • Routine maintenance and system flushing
  • Rotational servicing of industrial equipment

🔹 Key Benefits

  • Compact, cost-effective alternative to twin filtration systems
  • Removes ultra-fine contamination and water
  • Extends oil life and reduces replacement frequency
  • Reduces downtime and maintenance costs
  • Simple plug-and-play operation
  • Bunded design for safe spill containment

🔹 System Features

  • Heavy-duty industrial construction
  • Bunded base for fluid containment
  • Integrated pump system for reliable flow
  • Pressure gauge and safety cut-off protection
  • Sampling ports for oil condition monitoring
  • Supplied with suction and return hoses
  • Mounted on a compact, mobile or fixed frame

Based on the MS2 workstation design, the unit retains the same robust build quality and operational safety features, including overload protection and controlled flow filtration.

🔹 How the Mobile Filtration System Works

KLEENOIL mobile filtration systems are designed for simple, on-site operation, allowing you to quickly clean oil or fuel in tanks, IBCs, or machinery sumps.

At site:

  • Position the unit as close as possible to the tank, IBC, or system
  • Connect to a suitable power source (typically 240V)
  • Place the feed hose into the tank (or connect to an available port – standard ¾")
  • Position the return hose back into the tank, ideally as far from the feed point as practical to promote circulation

Once both hoses are submerged:

  • Turn the isolator switch to ON
  • Press the green start button
  • Allow the system to prime—the filtration process begins immediately

The unit will continuously circulate and clean the oil. Run the system until the desired level of cleanliness is achieved. For best results, it is recommended to take a visual before-and-after sample to monitor improvement.

🔹 Maintenance & Servicing

  • Cartridge changes: Follow the standard replacement procedure (see “Filter Replacement” section above)
  • Micromag: Periodically wipe clean during cartridge changes
  • General operation: The system is designed to be low maintenance and trouble-free
